We start our monthly update with a piece recently published on ehotelier by our CEO, Peter Gould, titled; A Meaningful Metaverse and the Power of Presence.
As the project continues to evolve, this article provides an insight into our research to discover what RendezVerse and its surrounding technology means to the hospitality industry and beyond.
What started as a platform for events and conferences, still part of the plan, has streamlined into tailored services to deliver customer-centric solutions for the web3 era, with people very much at the heart of hospitality.
Web3 is about empowering individuals and RendezVerse shares the same ethos in its goal to bring hospitality professionals together for shared experiences in the virtual world. Experiences that will radically improve on current practices to the benefit of all, ultimately giving back our most precious of resources, time.
So what have we been up to?
People and Partners:
RV is delighted to announce new development partners in Europe including The InterContinental Paris Le Grand, Anantara Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam and a joint collaboration with Movenpick Hotel Amsterdam and ijVENUES.
The ongoing support from such industry giants is obviously encouraging but what’s equally important is the insight we receive from the innovative teams from both new and existing partners alike. This is where we are discovering what the industry needs, is crying out for, allowing us to develop not just the technology but its underlying purpose and potential.
RV 360 and RV Xplore are obvious solutions for improved site inspections for existing venues but with these tools we can deliver the same service for properties that are yet to exist. Currently the realm of 3d renders, imagine inviting partners, clients or investors to your property before you’ve completed or even broken ground. Take off the hard hat and put on your VR goggles for a 4d fully immersive experience.
On the People front we are delighted to welcome strategic advisor Michael Cohen. Advising on strategic direction for the Americas, Michael’s role at RendezVerse will focus on driving impactful optimized commercial entry and growth, leading to enhanced company valuation, brand equity and market awareness.
Michael has over 20 years of innovative tech-focused, international strategic business development experience driving scalable and optimized go to market initiatives, across the hospitality, travel and retail sectors.
Specialising in global metaverse, VR, AR and XR solutions and commercialisation, Michael also shares his expertise as a metaverse mentor and advisor at the New York University’s Hospitality Hub Innovation Incubator.

All systems go as we continue to confirm further development partners, while the development team continues to create and optimise new features for current projects.
